Children's Resource Library
Alphabet Kids, an original, cross cultural children’s book series, introduces children aged three through eight years to a host of multicultural characters: Allegra (Italian-American), Elena (Hispanic-American), Isaac (Jewish-American), Oni (African-American), Umar (Arab-American), and Yang (Chinese-American). The timeless stories follow the kids’ fun adventures as they learn to embrace their cultural and ethnic heritage. With the population of the United States becoming more diverse, it is important that everyone, especially children, understands how to co-exist with others who may be different. A multi-disciplined curriculum is also available for the series.
